When it comes to food safety, chefs have trusted Taylor to bring them accurate and easy to use instruments since 1851. With the addition of a socket for a K-Type probe (sold separately), the 9523 infrared thermometer can be used to take surface and internal temperatures. Temperature range: -49˚ F to 752˚ F/-45˚ C to 400˚ C. Distant: Spot = 6:1. Emissivity is fixed at 0.95 and resolution at 0.1˚ F/0.1˚ C. Two AAA batteries and a nylon case are included.
