The mid-sized surface area of this Himalayan salt slab makes it the perfect option for searing smaller portions of meat, fish or vegetables. Heat your slab in the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit, drizzle with a small amount of olive oil (more or less to control the amount of salty taste imparted during the cooking process), and use to sear flank steak, salmon fillets, asparagus and more.
