To Use Impression Mats: Roll out fondant to about 1/4 inch thick. Lightly dust surface with powdered sugar. Place Impression Mat on top of fondant and firmly roll evenly over whole surface with a rolling pin. If you want to color the pattern at this time, brush with luster dust while the mat is in place. Carefully fold back fondant and the mat and place over your lightly iced cake. Carefully remove mat and smooth the fondant very gingerly with a fondant smoother being very careful not to press-out the pattern or smudge the luster dust. Trim off excess.
