Spaghetti with Red Clam Sauce:
1-28 oz. Can Crushed Tomatoes
1-14.5 oz. Can Diced Tomatoes
1-15 oz. Can Tomato Sauce
1-1/2 TB. Capers
1 TB. Minced Garlic
2 Tsp. Sugar
2 Tsp. Dried Parsley
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp. Salt
1/4 Tsp. Dried Basil
1/4 Tsp. Dried Oregano
1/4 Tsp. Black Pepper
1/4 Tsp. Crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2-6.5 oz. Cans Minced Clams, with juice
1 Lb. Cooked and drained spaghetti
In a large saucepan, combine all ingredients except clams and spaghetti. Cover and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 45-60 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the clams along with some of their juice during the last 5 minutes of cooking. Serve over hot spaghetti.
