John Boos Chinese Style Round Chopping Block is manufactured from walnut and complete with reversible design and end grain construction. All John Boos cutting boards and butcher blocks are NSF approved. It is a solid design for chopping and slicing all types of meat and vegetables. Ideal for the home chef or for commercial kitchens.

The cutting board surface is coated with the Boos Block Cream Finish of beeswax. This seals and protects the wood. This process of sealing the wood penetrates deep into the grain which leaves a smooth barrier to lock moisture in. See below for use and care instructions.

How to Maintain Your Butcher Block

With a miminum amount of maintenance, you can lengthen the life of the top of your Butcher Block from five to ten years. All Butcher Block products must be oiled on all surfaces with a natural mineral oil at least once a month to protect the wood.
