This Calphalon Medium Loaf Pan is made of sturdy aluminized steel. It is the perfect size for sweet breads, yeast breads and meatloaf.
Chocolate Banana Bread:
1-3/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
1/4 Cup Cocoa
1 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 Tsp. Salt
2 Lg. Eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 Cup Butter, Melted & Cooled
3 Ripe Bananas, Mashed (Abt. 1-1/2 Cups)
1/2 Cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans
1/2 Cup White Chocolate Chips
1 Tsp. Vanilla
Preheat oven to 350 degrees (F). Sift together flour, cocoa, sugar, baking soda, baking powder and salt, set aside. In a separate bowl, stir together mashed bananas, eggs, melted butter and vanilla. Fold banana mixture into flour mixture and stir well. Stir in nuts and white chocolate chips. Pour into lightly greased 4.5 inch by 8.5 inch loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Serve warm.
