Calphalon's Medium Cookie Sheets are a nice size for smaller kitchens and are made of durable aluminized steel to prevent warping. The nonstick coating is tough and will last for years if properly cared for.
Butterscotch Pecan Cookies:
1-3/4 Cups Sifted All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 Tsp. Salt
1 Stick Soft Butter
1-1/4 Cups Firmly Packed Light Brown Sugar
1 Lg. Egg
1 Tsp. Vanilla
3/4 Cup Finely Chopped Pecans
Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F). In a bowl, sift flour, baking soda and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar with a mixer till fluffy. Add the egg and vanilla and beat until smooth. Add the flour mixture gradually, stirring well after each addition. Stir in pecans. Drop by spoonfuls onto Parchment Paper lined cookie sheet. Makes 4 dozen.
